Welcome aboard the USS Myogi!

"Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected." -Steve Jobs

Star_Trek_Myogi_Mission_Patch_Alternate_PNG (1).pngThe year is 2397.

In the early 2380s, Starfleet recognized the need to modernize the New Orleans class of starship, which dated back to the early days of Project Galaxy in the 2340s. The refit initiative was led by Captain Tanaka Miyahara, a distinguished veteran of the Dominion War whom at the time Starfleet trusted to be capable of leading them into the future.

The initiative was dubbed "Project Jomo," and was an extensive top-to-bottom modernization of the New Orleans class. When brought up to Project Jomo spec, a New Orleans class starship would be able to keep up with contemporary starship designs. The first two ships of Project Jomo, the USS Myogi and USS Haruna, were launched in 2382 and have been in service since.

The USS Myogi is the lead ship of Project Jomo, and is currently commanded by Captain Maho Takahashi. The USS Myogi is not your "typical" Starfleet ship: Instead of 'exploring strange, new worlds' and 'seeking out new life and new civilizations'; the Myogi has a job rarely seen in Starfleet: Upholding law and order within Starfleet, to ensure commanding officers hold up to Starfleet's high standards, and if they falter, to hold them accountable for their actions.

Welcome aboard the USS Myogi; a ship that has gone through hell and back, but like the mountain she was named after, remains defiant against all odds.

The USS Myogi is currently serving in Theta Fleet, attached to Area 51, and is commanded by Captain Maho Takahashi: We are a play by Nova Star Trek Roleplaying Game and are rated 222 or "18+" due to content:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

That's right, folks: We have made it to 2026! And this year is bound to be a special one indeed, as 2026 marks our fifth anniversary year! Given the sheer market oversaturation in our hobby these days, any sim that makes it to five years deserves to be celebrated. And the fact that the Myogi has reached this milestone is a testament to your dedication and long term commitment to our game! We wouldn't have made it to 5 years without folks sticking around this long, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you. And here's…

» New Mission - The Breen

Posted on Tue Nov 25th, 2025 @ 3:35am by Captain Maho Takahashi in General News

To all crew,

Thus brings to a close our little time travel mission. Short, sweet, and borderline minimalistic as it was, I still think we accomplished quite a bit, given our time constraints.

That being said, we have now arrived at the events of the Iconian War: Exciting things lie in store, but danger also lurks around every corner! So, let's catch up with our intrepid crew as we see our first mission in the war:

With the Iconian War raging, the alliance is looking for any means to get a leg up on the Iconians. Thanks to Captain Ryosuke…

To all crew,

As mentioned back in March, we will be switching domains to myogi.harperhold.com. I now have an end date for when the sim-station.net domain will be retired:

If you have not done so already, please make sure you are using the harperhold.com link by November 19 to avoid service disruptions.

Thank you for your time!

Captain Maho Takahashi.

» New Season

Posted on Sun Jun 29th, 2025 @ 6:54am by Captain Maho Takahashi in General News

To all crew,

Season 2 has officially wrapped. I know, it felt significantly shorter than the last season, as we were done with it in a mere year and four months as opposed to the almost two years that it took to write Season 1, but more exciting things lay ahead in Season 3.

So, what better way to start Season 3 with a bang than with a time travel mission? Shall we gaze into a crystal ball and see what future might lie in store for the Starship Myogi?

4 Years!

It might not be as impressive as the Tokyo's 10, but it's still a notable achievement, as we are approaching the "end of life" cycle for an average Star Trek sim, and yet we're showing no signs of stopping!

Today marks the founding of the USS Myogi, which was Four Years ago today! I'll be honest, there were several times throughout our history that I thought for sure we wouldn't make it to this milestone. As stated above, most Star Trek sims only last about 4-5 years, so the fact that we've made it despite challenge after challenge…

Mission: The Breen
Posted on Thu Mar 5th, 2026 @ 3:06am by Commander Ichika Misono & Captain Maho Takahashi & Lieutenant Ami Rori

"Nice and easy, fellas- we've only got three of these and we pretty much need all of them!"

A small cadre of Eifie and Rheuysian engineers shuffled their way into Engineering, lugging with them a large, rectangular cargo container with distinctive Klingon markings. Applied to the top of the crate, where it would it be visible to anyone who so desired to access its contents, was a secondary label, which in bright capital letters was inscribed with the words "ON LOAN- HANDLE WITH CARE!"

Fronting the precession was a tall, surly blonde in his early forties, the marks of age…

Following the conclusion of the senior staff briefing, Maho had sent a memo to Kurumi. She had meant to bring it up to close out the staff meeting, but in her haste to get everyone back to work, the subject had slipped her mind. In the memo, Maho had requested to speak to Kurumi in Holodeck One at her earliest convenience, as there were a few things she wanted to go over with her security/tactical chief.

Kurumi arrived at the holodeck doors, she looked a little flustered. She understood that the Captain needed her for something, but this seemed... irregular.…

Mission: The Breen

The lone Valkyrie fighter dropped out of warp at the edge of the Algonquin Fleet Yards. It was unusual these days for a single fighter to appear without an escort, but thankfully for the small craft, its former mothership, the USS Kaga, had been passing through the sector, offering the pilot only a short warp jump she needed to complete unescorted.

The pilot, Lieutenant Dakota Meadows, had been asked to take on a temporary assignment to Task Force Jomo's former flagship, the USS Myogi, to bolster that ship's starfighter operations. Which the smaller ship was expanding for their upcoming mission.…

The Myogi was as back together as she could be. Crew rotations were completed, and further developments had arisen with the Klingon Empire sending an entire battle group to join the three Starfleet vessels en route to Breen space. The seven additional Klingon cruisers brought the total attack force up to ten vessels.

Maho emerged from her ready room after having fed Kyoko and returned her two month old daughter to the care of the holographic nanny. With things the way they were, whenever Maho was on duty, the ready room doubled as a makeshift nursery for Kyoko.

The Boatswain's…

Previously, on Star Trek: Myogi:

Once again the ship was engulfed in a huge explosion, followed by the bathing of white light. "Simulation failed. Resetting to last point..." The computer said once again.

And now, the continuation:

The lieutenant nodded. "Yes..." he said. "I'm the most qualified to go in there. However..."

Another engineer approached. "However, the radiation in the conduit will kill him."

The Chief nodded.

"Warning. Antimatter Containment Fields critical. Total collapse in two minutes" The computer warned.

Out of the corner of her eye, Chisato spotted a fuse box that was very clearly labeled "Emergency Forcefields"; before…

Chief Medical Officer's Log

The Miyogi is still in orbit of the Rheuys System. The sickbay is quiet. Too quiet.

Ensign Williams is finally stable and sleeping. Her being a Pelian it proved difficult to reach an effective treatment. She must not be moved until we see progress.

Crewman Rabal would be probably better off recovering in his own quarters. A broken wrist is not that serious but at the personal request of his physician he remains here for the time being. His exact words were ''it will happen again if we leave him out of sight''.

Captain's personal log:

A lot has happened in light of the Gamma Zednor fiasco, and I am making this log solely for the purpose of record keeping:

First of all, my leadership abilities as commanding officer of the Myogi were brought into question, and I was brought before the Judge Advocate General to clear my name. I'm sure Captain Aisaka, wherever she is, would have laughed her head off to see me on trial, and might have complained even louder than Miyahara did that my trial was rigged in my favor.

Captain's personal log,

Following the vote of no confidence in our previous leadership in the aftermath of attack on Starfleet Headquarters, an election has been held and the people have spoken: Sinisiub Pallis; the Federation Councilman from Vulcan, shall be taking office as the Federation's next president. Pallis rides into office on campaign promises to take a tougher stance on this separatist crisis. While I'm glad to see that the politicians are finally taking this threat to our security seriously, my concerns lie in Pallis himself:

Pallis hasn't been shy in admitting that he's a Romulan raised on Vulcan. While…

But he had been a gentleman, apparently, not wanting to disturb her as she slept and so his own would probably be wretched.
