Personality & Traits

General Overview		Krysia is a warm and friendly young woman, fully telepathic and empathic in nature. Compared to others Drax are more like Betazoids but with more umph when it comes to strength of ability. The Drax race have a unique affinity with plant life, ancestors of their race were a genetically modified species, something current scientists have done their upmost to try and erase from current generations. Those who still possess the plant genome are considered outsiders amongst their own kind forcing those who do have the ability to hide amongst their own kind.

Hobbies & Interests		Krysia has many hobbies, she loves hydroponics and plants in general. She also likes watching Earth movies, getting to know people, cooking, and a whole lot more besides.

Personal History

Krysia is a Drax, a somewhat xenophobic telepathic race that are considering stretching their influence further out amongst the stars. Krysia possesses the botanical gene, something carried back to ancestral times, it’s not totally understood but is thought to have stemmed from a time far in the past when Drax was an almost barren world. Those who possess the gene have a unique ability with any flora or fauna, helping to make Drax the green and luscious world it is today. Unfortunately she and others like herself have always been forced to hide amongst their own kind as they are now considered outcasts due to it being a genetically modified trait. Her parents taught her how to fit in, and she has grown up keeping that secret to herself.

The Drax are all telepathic and empathic so the society is strictly controlled, those with the strongest ability are law enforcement charged with keeping others safe. All children are tested and graded at a young age to see where in society they lay, the strongest are taken and trained.

Once she was old enough Krysia decided to enrol in the Drax psychology program, much like Betazed university. Following the path of becoming a psychologist and counsellor, she excelled in her classes becoming a top student, and graduated with honours. Moving on to Drax Academy she chose to study field medicine as her secondary career to further her medical credentials, her empathic and telepathic gifts proved useful in field tests in her role as a field medic.

With the Drax widening their sphere of influence it has given Krysia a chance to get outside the Drax system, becoming the first Drax to join Starfleet as an Exchange Officer, and Ambassador for her species. She didn’t want the cumbersome Ambassador title or duties, instead she has chosen to serve as a Counsellor and Field Medic, her credentials and training equal to that of Starfleet Academy.

She has been assigned to the USS Myogi as Assistant Chief Counsellor and Field Medic.
