To all crew,

Thus brings to a close our little time travel mission. Short, sweet, and borderline minimalistic as it was, I still think we accomplished quite a bit, given our time constraints.

That being said, we have now arrived at the events of the Iconian War: Exciting things lie in store, but danger also lurks around every corner! So, let's catch up with our intrepid crew as we see our first mission in the war:

With the Iconian War raging, the alliance is looking for any means to get a leg up on the Iconians. Thanks to Captain Ryosuke Takahashi from an alternate future, the alliance has intelligence on an Iconian weapons facility located in the Khourani system. A facility which in the alternate timeline was used to manufacture protomatter bombs that were detonated over Earth and many other seats of government in the galaxy. With future knowledge in hand, destruction of this weapons facility is paramount to the alliance's survival.

There's just one small problem: The Khourani system is located within Breen space, and the Breen Confederacy appear to be following a similar playbook from the Dominion War.

With the rest of the fleet preoccupied by the war effort, and with Task Force Jomo one ship down, the USS Myogi is selected to undertake a mission few before her would dare try: Travel to the Breen Homeworld in the heart of the Breen Confederacy to persuade the Breen that working with the Iconians is not in their best interests. The Myogi’s shield generators are overhauled in preparation for the journey.

Captain Takahashi will only have one chance to make a good impression. With the stakes this high, failure is not an option.

Sounds like we're in for another adventure! Hopefully there will be some more depth to this mission than our last one, but only time will tell!

We'll be skipping ahead ahead roughly a month and a half for our next time jump, and will be picking up on March 14, 2397. Kyoko is now two months old and few pounds heavier, but more importantly, our base of operations will be shifting from Starbase 234 to the next closest facility, and that is the Algonquin Fleet Yards in Sector 813!

Well, the end of another mission means another round of fleet awards, so let's see who's won this time:

Maho Takahashi Ribbon of Excellence recipients:

-Captain Maho Takahashi
-Lieutenant JG Jane Sinclair

Yikes! That is the slimmest amount of recipients for this award that I have ever seen! If I wasn't breaking my rule of abstaining from self-nominating, it would only be Lieutenant Sinclair winning the award, as everyone else has performed exactly to expectations, and nobody has really gone above or beyond this mission.

Hopefully, we had NPCs that did better this mission:

Essential NPC Award recipients:

-Commander Ryosuke Takahashi
-Commander Chiyomi Anzai
-Commander Keisuke Takahashi
-Lieutenant Commander Nezuko
-Lieutenant Commander Chrirhc Chihc
-Lieutenant Minerva Zephyrin
-Lieutenant Alisha Reno
-Lieutenant JG Mia Amaro
-Lieutenant JG Takumi Fujiwara
-Petty Officer 2nd Class Mai Ichihara

And I'm happy to report, they did! Congratulations to our award winners!

Before we move on to our mission-specific participation awards, for The Next Myogi, I'm rolling out not one, but TWO mission specific awards related to it! The Captain Ryosuke Takahashi Commendation for Original Thinking, which is more along the lines of awards like the Reintegration, Cliffhanger, and Reunification Awards, where every player that participated in this mission will be eligible, as well as the USS Myogi-A Medal of Honor. This award serves as a thank you for players who helped portray members of the alternate timeline USS Myogi-A's crew. So, without further ado, here are your recipients!

Congratulations to all of our mission-specific award recipients, and congratulations especially to our Myogi-A Medal of Honor recipients!

The next important Myogi event-specific award is our Voyage Home Medal of Appreciation, but that's coming up next month, and will get a special mention at the end of next mission.

You're probably sick of the normal closing spiel by now, so I'll leave you with this instead: I'm sure you all have noticed by now that our Christmas side mission, Christmas Vacation, is back online for everyone to participate in, but this year, its return will be truncated. There will be no grace period in early 2026 for wrapping posts related to this mission. Any and all posts related to Christmas Vacation should be wrapped by New Year's.

This is because our new mission, The Breen, will likely take us into 2026, which will mark our sim's fifth anniversary, and with such an important milestone coming up, let's just say I have some exciting things in store come 2026! ;)

Until next time!

-Captain Maho Takahashi
