Welcome aboard the USS Myogi!
The year is 2397.In the early 2380s, Starfleet recognized the need to modernize the New Orleans class of starship, which dated back to the early days of Project Galaxy in the 2340s. The refit initiative was led by Captain Tanaka Miyahara, a distinguished veteran of the Dominion War whom at the time Starfleet trusted to be capable of leading them into the future.
The initiative was dubbed "Project Jomo," and was an extensive top-to-bottom modernization of the New Orleans class. When brought up to Project Jomo spec, a New Orleans class starship would be able to keep up with contemporary starship designs. The first two ships of Project Jomo, the USS Myogi and USS Haruna, were launched in 2382 and have been in service since.
The USS Myogi is the lead ship of Project Jomo, and is currently commanded by Captain Maho Takahashi. The USS Myogi is not your "typical" Starfleet ship: Instead of 'exploring strange, new worlds' and 'seeking out new life and new civilizations'; the Myogi has a job rarely seen in Starfleet: Upholding law and order within Starfleet, to ensure commanding officers hold up to Starfleet's high standards, and if they falter, to hold them accountable for their actions.
Welcome aboard the USS Myogi; a ship that has gone through hell and back, but like the mountain she was named after, remains defiant against all odds.
The USS Myogi is currently serving in Theta Fleet, attached to Area 51, and is commanded by Captain Maho Takahashi: We are a play by Nova Star Trek Roleplaying Game and are rated 222 or "18+" due to content:

» USS Myogi Celebrates 5 Years!

5 Years!
Monday, March 22, 2021 at 6:43 PM GMT. According to our NOVA, that is the precise moment that our sim was founded Five Years ago today! With everything this sim has been through, including a rather turbulent fleet change before we were even ONE year old, let alone Five, there were times I had my doubts that we'd make it to five years. Half a decade is an incredible milestone for a Star Trek sim to hit, especially given that most Star Trek sims that start up usually don't make it to their first anniversary, so for one…

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
That's right, folks: We have made it to 2026! And this year is bound to be a special one indeed, as 2026 marks our fifth anniversary year! Given the sheer market oversaturation in our hobby these days, any sim that makes it to five years deserves to be celebrated. And the fact that the Myogi has reached this milestone is a testament to your dedication and long term commitment to our game! We wouldn't have made it to 5 years without folks sticking around this long, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you. And here's…

To all crew,
Thus brings to a close our little time travel mission. Short, sweet, and borderline minimalistic as it was, I still think we accomplished quite a bit, given our time constraints.
That being said, we have now arrived at the events of the Iconian War: Exciting things lie in store, but danger also lurks around every corner! So, let's catch up with our intrepid crew as we see our first mission in the war:
With the Iconian War raging, the alliance is looking for any means to get a leg up on the Iconians. Thanks to Captain Ryosuke…

To all crew,
As mentioned back in March, we will be switching domains to myogi.harperhold.com. I now have an end date for when the sim-station.net domain will be retired:
If you have not done so already, please make sure you are using the harperhold.com link by November 19 to avoid service disruptions.
Thank you for your time!
Captain Maho Takahashi.

Mission: The Breen
Posted on Mon Mar 16th, 2026 @ 10:23pm by Captain Maho Takahashi & Lieutenant Commander Kurumi Ebisuzawa
Previously, on Star Trek: Myogi:
"Computer, pause." Maho suddenly spoke. In an instant, the holograms froze in place where they were when the order was given. Maho tapped a few notes on her PADD, muttering something that sounded like 'Interesting' as she did so. When she was finished, Maho looked up from the PADD at Kurumi. "Are you ready to begin test two?"
And now, the continuation:
"Wait... That was it? I thought that they would be more to that?" Kurumi replied. She looked around at the holodeck characters then nodded. "Ok, test two. What am I facing next?"
"Computer,…

Captain's log, Maho Takahashi:
The Myogi, Oorai, and Alita have been making steady pace for the Breen border whilst waiting for our Klingon allies to catch up. The latest update is that the Klingons are expected to intersect our course within the hour, and based on their trajectory relative to ours, likely to keep going if we maintain our current speed.
As such, I have ordered our own speed increased so that we may keep pace with the Klingons. It seems they, just as much as we, are ready to take the fight to the Iconians...
End of log:

Previously, on Star Trek: Myogi:
"No, no, she's not dead," Chisato assured him. "The fact of the matter is that she's got a 14-year-old daughter and a husband who's 14 years behind on the times, so that's at least two dependents she's now gotta juggle in addition to her preexisting duties. I mean, she could have opted to stay on the Tokyo, yes, but you saw just how unstable she was back in the Karlax Nebula? She's a strong woman, I'll give her that, but to lose her family now of all times would send her right off the edge,…

Mission: The Breen

"Nice and easy, fellas- we've only got three of these and we pretty much need all of them!"
A small cadre of Eifie and Rheuysian engineers shuffled their way into Engineering, lugging with them a large, rectangular cargo container with distinctive Klingon markings. Applied to the top of the crate, where it would it be visible to anyone who so desired to access its contents, was a secondary label, which in bright capital letters was inscribed with the words "ON LOAN- HANDLE WITH CARE!"
Fronting the precession was a tall, surly blonde in his early forties, the marks of age…

Mission: The Breen
Posted on Wed Feb 25th, 2026 @ 5:21am by Captain Maho Takahashi & Lieutenant Commander Kurumi Ebisuzawa
Following the conclusion of the senior staff briefing, Maho had sent a memo to Kurumi. She had meant to bring it up to close out the staff meeting, but in her haste to get everyone back to work, the subject had slipped her mind. In the memo, Maho had requested to speak to Kurumi in Holodeck One at her earliest convenience, as there were a few things she wanted to go over with her security/tactical chief.
Kurumi arrived at the holodeck doors, she looked a little flustered. She understood that the Captain needed her for something, but this seemed... irregular.…

"Captain's log, supplementary; Commander Ichika Misono reporting.
"I am pleased to report that as of Stardate 74884.6, Captain Maho Takahashi has successfully given birth to her first child, a girl. Despite a low birth weight of just 2.6 kilograms, Doctors Zephyrin and Ryo have observed no major health complications, and estimate that the child- along with her parents- will most likely be discharged from sickbay after a routine 3 days' monitoring period, barring any unforeseen circumstances."

Chief Medical Officer's Log
The Miyogi is still in orbit of the Rheuys System. The sickbay is quiet. Too quiet.
Ensign Williams is finally stable and sleeping. Her being a Pelian it proved difficult to reach an effective treatment. She must not be moved until we see progress.
Crewman Rabal would be probably better off recovering in his own quarters. A broken wrist is not that serious but at the personal request of his physician he remains here for the time being. His exact words were ''it will happen again if we leave him out of sight''.
Lieutenant Maloney probably…

Captain's personal log:
A lot has happened in light of the Gamma Zednor fiasco, and I am making this log solely for the purpose of record keeping:
First of all, my leadership abilities as commanding officer of the Myogi were brought into question, and I was brought before the Judge Advocate General to clear my name. I'm sure Captain Aisaka, wherever she is, would have laughed her head off to see me on trial, and might have complained even louder than Miyahara did that my trial was rigged in my favor.
During my trial, I am told that the adoption…

Captain's personal log,
Following the vote of no confidence in our previous leadership in the aftermath of attack on Starfleet Headquarters, an election has been held and the people have spoken: Sinisiub Pallis; the Federation Councilman from Vulcan, shall be taking office as the Federation's next president. Pallis rides into office on campaign promises to take a tougher stance on this separatist crisis. While I'm glad to see that the politicians are finally taking this threat to our security seriously, my concerns lie in Pallis himself:
Pallis hasn't been shy in admitting that he's a Romulan raised on Vulcan. While…

SET: The morning after ‘Ex Post After Shift’, 3am
Ami had left early that next morning after having woken up snuggled in and using Connor Talmage as a pillow, which had been as much a surprise as anything, given her unfamiliarity with him and the awkwardness in which they had started out the evening before after the… Situation in the lounge. But he had been a gentleman, apparently, not wanting to disturb her as she slept and so his own would probably be wretched. She took the time to leave him a handwritten note, tented on the low table in…
